Acupuncture really relieves pain

Scientists have proven that acupuncture calms the brain cells that are used for finding and processing of pain

Acupuncture really relieves the pain, confirms the latest scientific research of the University Hospital in Essen, Germany. Scientists have proven that acupuncture calms the brain cells that are used for finding and processing of pain.

A team of scientists studied the effect of acupuncture on how the brain reacts to electric shocks. Subjects were subjected to a sophisticated brain scan, and at the same time get an electric shock in their left ankle.

Then, on the right side of the acupuncture needles are placed - between the toes, under your knees and close the thumb, and the electric shock is again involved. It is this second series of brain scan showed significantly less activity in brain areas responsible for the pain.

This year, research has shown that twisting the acupuncture needles act as natural painkillers. However, there is no scientific research that proves the traditional explanation for acupuncture - needles to return to balance the vital forces of the human body.
