You can lose weight by eating potato

One potato contains only 110 calories and has no fat or cholesterol, so it can help you to lose weight

There is no evidence that potatoes, when you make them in a healthy manner contribute to gaining weight. Indeed, they may even be part of a program to lose weight, according to a study conducted at the University of California and U.S. National Center for Food Safety and Technology.

Scientists in the study included 86 men and women who are overweight and over 12 weeks measured the effects of diets with reduced calorie intake and altered glycemic index (a measure of the effect of carbohydrates on blood sugar levels), but with the addition of potatoes.

Were randomly grouped three groups and each was on a diet that included five to seven servings of potatoes a week, and the results showed that all three groups lost weight.

One medium sized potato contains, in fact, only 110 calories, contains more potassium than bananas, and almost half the recommended daily value of vitamin C. In addition, do not contain fat or cholesterol.
